BVCG Task Programme – Feb-Apr 2018
This Weds we’ll be picking up litter along the north shore of Breydon Water following a very successful and enjoyable clean-up this time last year. Great Yarmouth Borough Council and the RSPB will provide equipment and get rid of the rubbish.
Meet at Acle Library at 9.30am for car share or at the Asda car park in Great Yarmouth at 9.50am. We’ll park closest to the river edge and concrete bridge. You’ll need to give your vehicle registration number to Nigel on arrival so that he can arrange free parking.
Bring wellies for collecting rubbish from the mudflats, but anyone who prefers boots will be fine collecting along the shore where most rubbish is lying. Come prepared for the odd rain odd shower!
Depending on the tide, we could see lots of birds, which we can look at and discuss during tea-break.
